The number of concrete applications for hydrogen technologies is continuously increasing. With the National Hydrogen Strategy, the German government has generally committed itself to more green, decentralized energy supply technologies in order to achieve climate protection goals. EFOY JUPITER hydrogen fuel cells have several advantages that make a big difference in disaster situations. Previously used diesel generators consume more fuel, which means that the unit can only bridge a shorter period of emergency power operation than the hydrogen fuel cell. However, long periods of maximum energy self-sufficiency are essential in the event of a disaster.
In addition, diesel has storage problems after a certain period of time. Even at low temperatures, the diesel component kerosene can form “flakes” over time, which can lead to obstructions in the lines, filters or pumps of the generator. This is not the case with the EFOY JUPITER. It is also much more efficient and emits only heat and water vapor, which is good for the environment.
This makes the scalable EFOY JUPITER a reliable stationary emergency power generator for critical infrastructures such as control and security systems, hospitals, server hubs and much more. In addition, it has the potential to be used in the future as an emergency power generator for masts of the new 5G mobile communications standard. As it has a much shorter response time than diesel generators in the event of a network failure, this makes it a much demanded technology for the future.
