SFC and Webasto plan on a far-reaching sales cooperation
Brunnthal, 10th September 2007 – SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG, the leading global manufacturer of methanol fuel cell systems for mobile and remote energy supply and Webasto AG, Stockdorf, one of the leading suppliers to the automotive and leisure vehicle industry, plan on a long-term cooperation for the equipping of leisure vehicles.
It is intended that in the future SFC will supply EFOY fuel cells via Webasto, manufactured in series, for the equipping of leisure vehicles. Additionally, the cooperation, in a regional sales organisation, will in the future give SFC a stronger presence for its products in the accessories follow-up market.

Within the recreational vehicle market, estimated by market specialists to consist of more than 1 million vehicles in Europe, Webasto, known as one of the market leaders for heating solutions in the automotive industry, is providing innovative comfort solutions under a global gas free strategy. As an independent, reliable and environmentally friendly source of energy, SFC’s fuel cells will in future become an integral part of this concept.
SFC is looking to achieve a triple digit growth rate in the current fiscal year. In the first half of 2007 the company has already increased its sales, compared to the previous year, by 150 per cent to 7.5 million Euros.
