In doing so, SFC Energy closes the circle of sustainable technologies by providing practicable solutions for campers and campsite operators. In this way, the caravanning industry and community make an essential contribution to climate protection.
SFC Energy brings its climate friendly solutions to the stage of the world’s largest trade show for motor homes and caravans. Visitors can convince themselves about the advantages of the environmentally friendly EFOY fuel cell series in hall 13, booth A36. Together with the Caravaning Industrie Verband (CIVD), SFC Energy will additionally present a fully equipped sample site on the outdoor area of the exhibition grounds. On site the company will give a deep insight into the great opportunities of climate neutral camping.
For this purpose, SFC Energy not only presents powerful EFOY fuel cells for on-board power supply of the vehicle. At the same time, the SFC fair team showcases environmentally friendly power generators for stationary camping and campground applications, based on hydrogen (H2) and direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) technology. The fuel cell thus becomes the green power plant of a sustainable power supply for the entire camping community and enables nature-oriented, gentle tourism.
On parking spaces, it reliably and permanently provides power for numerous applications. For example, from gated entrances, ticket machines, information terminals or the video surveillance system. The possible applications are almost limitless. Paired with a solar power system, the EFOY fuel cell is also capable of providing on-board power if the parking space itself does not have access to the conventional power grid. Via the EFOY Cloud, users can control the entire management of the fuel cell, locate the unit, adjust it to individual environmental conditions via remote control, or analyze the data history.
The EFOY Hydrogen for applications in the power range from 2.5 to 50 kilowatts (kW) opens up additional possibilities. With the addition of a solar module and electrolyzer, campsites can become producers of green hydrogen and, for example, operate a hydrogen filling station for their visitors. This makes the camping trip climate neutral and an unforgettable experience.
