Development Engineer Electronic Hardware for Fuel Cells (m/w/d)

Your Part in our Team:

  • You focus on power electronics in the DC voltage range for direct methanol and hydrogen fuel cell systems.
  • You are responsible for the hardware development of our fuel cells. You create the hardware architecture and design as well as circuit diagrams and layouts.
  • In terms of series support, you take care of further developing our existing technologies with a focus on performance and costs.
  • You’re part of our project teams for new product developments. Your expertise contributes to the perfect design and coordination of the hardware and all components.
  • You validate our PCBs both technically and thermally, including layout verification, testing, and the creation and evaluation of test protocols.
  • Clear documentation of your work results is important to you (FMEA, specifications, risk analysis).
  • To ensure the high quality standards of the production of our PCBs at the supplier, you support the test description and the development of hardware test benches.

You bring along:

  • Technical degree in the field of electronics/ mechatronics or comparable qualification
  • Work experience in power electronics/ switching power supplies
  • Knowledge in modern circuit simulation tools and layout systems
  • User knowledge in Pulsonix PCB, LabView, Visual Basic desirable
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, very good in German.
