Frontend Software Developer (m/f/d) (React.js) – Fuel Cell Systems

Your part in our team:

  • Our new IoT platform connects our smart fuel cell systems with our customers to provide important remote monitoring and control capabilities. As a frontend engineer and part of our software team, you will be responsible for further developing and improving our existing platform. You have the opportunity to transform it and integrate our new generation of products into the platform with your passion.
  • You will develop a new, reliable web service that creates significant value for our customers. In addition, you will create high quality software that works very close to customers and becomes an integral part of our product suite.
  • It is also your responsibility to stay up to date about device compatibility and new operating concepts.
  • Occasionally End-to-end testing, setting up automated build systems and designing mockups will be a part of your job.
  • We will work in a diverse team at the research and development division with a lot of possibility for interdisciplinary insights and learning opportunities. At the core team, you will closely coordinate with the backend engineer.
  • In doing so, you will work with state-of-the-art web frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js and eventually Flutter.

What you should bring along:

  • You have relevant professional experience in the field of frontend software development, as well as a successfully completed bachelor or higher degree in computer science, web development, media design or a comparable professional qualification.
  • You think analytically and are able to break down complex problems and projects to find a useful and pragmatic solution that fits to our stakeholder needs.
  • You have expert knowledge in many of these areas: MVC, React.js, GraphQL, WebSocket, cloud computing (e.g. Azure), Docker.
  • You are very expirenced with programming in JavaScript, CSS/SASS, HTML5. You have practical knowledge in TypeScript, Dart or Python.
  • Experience in graphic design software (e.g. Illustrator).
  • Experience in agile software development (continuous integration, continuous delivery) is a plus.
  • As a team player, you are motivated to contribute your expertise and learn from others.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile.
