We are looking for you as the perfect addition to our colourful team in Brunnthal near Munich – as a
Engineer Component Development (m/f/d) for H2 Fuel Cell Systems
Your Part in our Team:
- You take care of the selection and characterization of different components for use in our hydrogen fuel cell systems (e.g. valves, cooling systems, stack components, blowers, humidification modules, seals, lines/connecting elements,…).
- You evaluate and optimize the components under technical as well as economic aspects in close cooperation with our suppliers.
- You perform experimental work on test benches and on the overall system.
- You ensure the qualification of the components for use in series production:
- Creation of validation plans
- Execution and supervision of the tests
- Evaluation and documentation of the data
- Evaluation and presentation of the results
- You design and build new test benches. Existing test benches are extended and improved.
- You work within the scope of development projects as well as in series support.
- You ensure the performance, quality and cost targets.
You bring along:
- Completed technical studies, such as mechanical engineering, technical physics, energy engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, or equivalent
- Very good knowledge of thermodynamics, thermal management, and fluid mechanics
- Familiarity with hydrogen
- Experience in handling fuel cell components is an advantage
- Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- Independent, structured and customer-oriented way of working as well as strong communication and team skills
