Brunnthal, Germany, August 30, 2008 – The producer of exclusive motor homes, Burow-Mobil, Mering, Germany, has selected the EFOY 1200 to be part of the standard equipment ex works of their latest VIP 600 XL and VIP 600 L models. Burow-Mobil will present for the first time the two new top styles of the 2009 season at this year’s Caravan Salon at Duesseldorf, Germany. With this, another leading motor home manufacturer has opted to integrate the modern, environmentally friendly power source as serial equipment in their vehicles. For all other Burow-Mobil models the EFOY fuel cell is available as optional equipment.
“Especially with regard to the increased caution of leisure customers all over Europe in their spending, the equipment of motor homes with features that offer a true added value to customers will give us an important competitive edge“, says Claus Burow, Managing Director of Burow-Mobil. “The successful EFOY portfolio of SFC Smart Fuel Cell enables the owners of our motor homes to enjoy the full autonomy of their vehicles wherever they are. This is a decisive enhancement of their quality of life when travelling.“
“We are excited that Burow-Mobil, a renowned producer of exclusive, individually adapted motor homes, has selected our EFOY fuel cell as standard equipment“, says Dr. Peter Podesser, CEO of SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG. “This again proves that the EFOY fuel cell has indeed become the standard source for reliable off grid power in motor homes all across Europe. Demanding caravanning customers are increasingly requesting this silent, fully automatic way of always having full batteries.“
The EFOY fuel cell is now available as standard or optional equipment at 35 motor home manufacturers in Europe. Customers can select from four models with a charging capacity from 600 to 1,600 Wh per day. EFOY fuel cells and EFOY fuel cartridges (5 or 10 litre) are sold at more than 800 sales points across Europe.
