New Allocation of Management llocation Functions at SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG

Brunnthal, Germany, July 7, 2008 – The Management Board of SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG in coordination with the company’s Supervisory Board has decided upon a new allocation of its functions. The new allocation of functions applies with immediate effect.

Dr. Jens Mueller (35), up to now Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG becomes Chief Operating Officer (COO) with immediate effect. In addition to his hitherto functions, Dr. Mueller is now also in charge of the production department. Thus, Dr. Mueller heads the complete operations process with production, supply chain management, and logistics. He remains responsible officer for research and development, quality management and information technologies.

As before, sales and marketing, finance and controlling, human resources as well as strategy and communication are the responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG, Dr. Peter Podesser (41).

At the same time capacities are created for further strengthening SFC’s penetration into the leisure, industry, defense and mobility markets under the direction of Dr. Podesser.“
