Brunnthal/Munich, Germany, April 24, 2018 - SFC Energy AG (F3C:DE, ISIN: DE0007568578), a leading provider of hybrid power solutions to the stationary and mobile power generation markets, has signed a business partnership agreement with Beijing Green Century Technology Co., Ltd. (Green Century), China. In the context of the agreement, Green Century will sell and service SFC Energy's EFOY Pro fuel cells as reliable off-grid power sources for powering industrial off-grid equipment in China.

Green Century will introduce the EFOY Pro fuel cells to their industrial customers in renewable energy applications, like solar PV and wind power, in telecommunication, railway, and automation and in other specialized industries. Another area of growing importance in Asia is the new energy vehicle sector. To ensure ultimate efficiency and optimum service quality, Green Century engineers have been trained and qualified by SFC Energy experts in fuel cell installation and service.

"The EFOY Pro fuel cell is an ideal addition to our portfolio of customized electronic and energy solutions," says Jack Ji, CEO of Green Century. "Smart, environmentally-friendly and yet reliable off-grid power is a tremendously important issue here in China. The fuel cell delivers autonomous, weather-independent power on demand, it is easy to transport, silent, virtually non-detectable, it can be hybridized with many other alternative power generators, and the fuel logistics are much easier than for Diesel generators. This is exactly what our customers need. We see a big potential for this technology in our markets."

"With Green Century as our partner we expect to further grow our customer base in Asia," says Dr. Peter Podesser, CEO of SFC Energy. "We see a strong interest here for our hybrid fuel cell power solutions in many areas, where reliable off-grid power is of utmost importance, for example in security & surveillance, telecommunication, early warning and emergency resources and many more."
