SFC was founded in 2000 under the name SFC Smart Fuel Cell, focusing on the production and distribution of direct methanol fuel cells. Over the years, SFC Energy AG has developed into a globally leading group of companies specialising in mobile energy solutions and power management for the Clean Energy and Clean Power Management markets.
