Portable SFC fuel cells – Applications: Observation Troops

=> In order to power these two devices alone, a soldier would have to carry 15.1 kg worth of batteries on him.

Using the JENNY 600S fuel cell In order to power both devices for 48 hours, a soldier would only have to carry

The total weight of the above amounts to a mere 5.7 kg.  

=> Using a JENNY 600S-type fuel cell permits a weight reduction in this case of 63%.

What’s more, there is still capacity to supply other devices. If one were to exploit the JENNY to its fullest, it would be possible to reduce weight by up to 80%.
