Brunnthal, July 28, 2006 – SFC has upgraded the manufacturing process for EFOY fuel cartridges to mass production techniques. The resulting cost savings are passed on to the user by means of lower sales prices for EFOY cartridges.

Effective August 1, 2006 the 10-liter M10 EFOY fuel cartridge will cost only 21.99 EUR including tax, a 40 percent savings. Together with an EFOY fuel cell, the M10 provides 9.1 kWh (760 Ah at 12V), enough power for 130 hours of satellite television in a motor home, for example. One hour of television viewing will now only cost about 16 cents. At the same time, the price for the M5 5-liter fuel cartridge will drop to 15.99 EUR including tax.

Every EFOY fuel cartridge carries the "Ultra Pure" seal which stands for the molecular purity guarantee that is subject to constant testing. Furthermore, all EFOY fuel cartridges come equipped with a safety valve that prevents unintentional leakage. The German technical authority TUEV-Sued has confirmed this safety feature and has conferred its GS seal, which stands for "safety tested".
