Appearance of the new SFC A50 fuel cell in "Caravaning TV"

München, Dezember 17, 2004. With the start of the new year the SFC A50 will come in elegant silver. And it will carry its new look right away into TV: On January 1, 2005 the German sports television station DSF will show a report on the revolutionary power supply for motor home in "Caravaning TV".

As always, "Caravaning TV" will report about the latest trends. This time about SFC Energy's methanol fuel cell SFC A50. The SFC A50 will appear in its classy new high tech design: an elegant silver housing with dark blue stripes. The installation of the power package in the back of Hymer Camp motor home will be presented during the four minute coverage.

For the film the "Caravaning TV" team also made an interview with Dr. Manfred Stefener, founder and managing director of  SFC Energy AG. It will also present insights into the production process.

With 50 Watt charging capacity the SFC A50 can feed up to 100 Ah per day into the consumer batteries. This covers the power requirements of even large motor homes. The big advantage over solar systems is the reliablity of the fuel cell. Even in bad weather, in the dead of winter or at night the fuel cell will reliably provide power as needed. Compared to a generator there will be no noise or exhausts. And due to the fuel cell being integrated in the motor home owners will not have to move outside to switch the generator on or off, an advantage especially in winter.

If you want to experience the fuel cell yourself, you have two opportunities to do so from January 15 to 23: at the SFC booth E68 in hall 9 on "boot" in Duesseldorf, and at the booth of Rall Caravaning in hall 7 at "CMT" in Stuttgart.
