With EFOY COMFORT, SFC is introducing a new fuel cell generation to the leisure market. The new product series consists of three units with a charge capacity of 80, 140 or 210 Ah per day and replaces the previous EFOY series of five models throughout Europe

SFC Smart Fuel Cell extends its product portfolio by the most powerful fuel cell EFOY 2200. With a power increase by 38 per cent compared the EFOY 1600 and a charging capacity of 2200 watt hours, it provides even more energy comfort and independence in a motor home, on a sailing boat and in cottages.

SFC Smart Fuel Cell presents the SFC Joint Power Manager during the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC) in Tampa, Florida. The SFC Joint Power Manager is a portable and intelligent military application to be used by a soldier in the field in order to provide almost any device with power.

SFC starts the commercial sale of the JENNY fuel cell for defense applications during the IDEX 2009 in Abu Dhabi.

SFC has sold 10,000 EFOY fuel cells so far and has thus sold more fuel cell-power supply solutions than any other fuel cell company.

On the Hannover Fair, SFC presents the electric scooter GECO42fun for the first time. It is a scooter with an EFOY fuel cell integrated into the top case.

The so far most powerful fuel cell of SFC Smart Fuel Cell, the FC 250 fuel cell system, with a nominal power of 250 watt is being pre-serially produced. The development phase for U.S. Army Operation Test Command has been concluded.

LG Chem and SFC announce their cooperation concerning the commercialization of DMFC fuel cells for consumer electronics.

SFC becomes a certified company for development, production and sale of fuel cells and equipment according to DIN ISO 9001:2001.

SFC presents the new portable FCPS fuel cell prototype with a weight of only 1 kg at the Milipol in Paris for the first time. The device is already undergoing field tests.

The SFC A50 fuel cell is the first fuel cell worldwide built in series into a vehicle: It covers the energy demands on board in mobile homes of the Hymer “S-Klasse”.

SFC A50, the new DMFC generation for the alternative power supply in recreational vehicles, is presented for the first time at the Caravan Salon Duesseldorf.

SFC A25 is the first fuel cell system worldwide for private use available on the market.

After a development time of only 18 months, SFC presents the first prototype of his miniaturized direct methanol fuel cell system (DMFC) worldwide close to serial production on the “Wasserstoff-Expo“in Hamburg.
