Man Portable Portable power for extended missions
Portable fuel cells are energy on the go
Soldiers today carry a lot of electrical and electronic equipment with them. This is especially true for special units which sometimes have to carry up to 70 kg of gear. A large amount of that load is batteries for different devices because there often won’t be an opportunity to charge batteries in the field. Add to that the frequent interruptions to the mission to replace batteries. The bottom line is limited mission time, complicated logistics and heavy burdens for soldiers.
The Solution: the portable JENNY fuel cell by SFC
A soldier can easily carry the JENNY 600S by SFC.
The JENNY 600s generates current anytime, anywhere, reliably, quietly and fully automatically, regardless of season, weather, or climate. The JENNY 600S can power a number of devices such as digital communications and navigations systems, computers, laser tracking system or night-vision equipment. What’s more, the JENNY can be used as a portable charging device to boost common batteries in the field fully automatically.
JENNY ND Terra – The perfect flexible energy solution
The portable plug & play solution for off-grid energy supply is based on the multi award winning and commercially successful JENNY 600S fuel cell by SFC. JENNY ND Terra has been specially developed as stand-alone, non-detectable, long-lasting energy supply for defense and security applications. It reliably supplies energy for wide-area reconnaissance, physical protection and covert operations. JENNY ND Terra even functions when buried under ground, making the energy solution non-detectable.
Energy Network with SFC Power Manger
The SFC Power Manager can provide current to a number of electrical devices in the field. Replacement batteries are a thing of the past, The JENNY 600S provides the actual power acting in tandem with hybrid batteries, but other sources of power such as solar cells or automotive batteries are also possible.
The Power Manager is a universal interface between all available power sources on the one hand, and all electrical devices on the other. It thus establishes an energy network that delivers a maximum of power and flexibility at a minimum of weight.
